Asa Coast Railway DMV, Rail/Road Vehicle The Asa Kaigan Railway is a railway and bus company that connects the city of Kaiyo in Tokushima Prefecture and the city of Toyo in Kochi Prefecture. DMV (Dual Mode Vehicle) is a special vehicle that can drive on tracks and roads by mode changes, and on December 25, 2021, the world's first commercial operation launched in full on the coastal railway. As a new form of tourism promotion and regional revival that takes advantage of the properties of DMV, as well as to support victims in the event of disaster, it finds national and international attention.
